 Purchased in 2009 from the Olds CWHBA sale, Buena was Tara's previous primary competition mount for over 5 years. This mare had a ton of scope and even more heart, bringing Tara all the way from the 0.90m to the 1.30m ring. Tara and Buena competed at various venues, including competing in the All Canada and Meadows on the Green rings at the Spruce Meadows Masters Tournament in 2013 & 2014.

 

 Buena is by the stallion Bajazzo, who sired the top placed Canadian event horse at the 2008 Olympics. She was retired from sport in 2015 and although she has proven to be a tricky mare to get and keep foal she has been a valuable addition to the KSH breeding program, delivering a beautiful and atheltic colt by Arrezzo June 2021.
